Got Milk?

I've had this really old and really rusty milk can for years. It sat sad and lonely between the work shop and fence. Rain, hail, sleet and snow abusing the poor thing. With branches of Cedar trees as its only shelter. Well today it now shines and is a beautiful accent to the yard. I gave it a $6 makeover :)

Poor poor milk can :(

I used Rustoleum Hammered paint to cover rust worked amazingly well and I loveeeeee the color! You can actually see the letters now! They POP!

Must find more things to paint using this color, I love it!

  1. Wow, what a change! That is so neat that you can read the words now!!!

  2. Love the new look, I have never tried the hammered paint before, it looks like it has nice texture. Thanks for sharing :)

  3. Yes, the textured paint did well for this. With so much rust it was pretty bad and it covered nicely.
